Update your app

Ensure all transfers have been received and there are no outstanding incoming transactions.
Clear your balances
Empty all currency accounts.

Close linked features
Cancel any pending transactions or subscriptions.
Ensure there are no active insurance or other purchases.
Resolve any open chargeback requests.
Repay any outstanding WizzPay loans.
Ready to close?
Once your account meets all the requirements (empty balance, no pending activity, etc.), you can close your WizzPay account by writing to our support team. We'll guide you through the process.

Download and keep any account statements for your records before closing account.
We'll send you a confirmation email once your account is closed.
As a regulated financial institution, we are legally required to retain your data for a minimum of 5 years to comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism laws. This may override your right to data erasure under certain data protection regulations. We will securely hold your data according to strict regulatory guidelines.
